Welcome to our main office and showroom in Chicago. We are located at 414 North Orleans in the River North section of downtown Chicago, on the fourth floor. As with our other Stone Source branches, we are "to the trade only". Our clients are architects and designers, and we wish to focus on their needs specifically.

Stone Source Midwest has a lot of natural stones to show you, many of which you probably haven't seen before. We specialize in unique stones that will differentiate your designs - and dazzle your clients. In addition, we offer a carefully selected collection of beautiful classic stones, from the world's best sources.

We believe it is important that architects and designers, and their customers, are able to view most natural stones in fields or multiple pieces, to better understand the color and graining characteristics that exist in all natural materials. For this reason, you will find many stones installed on our showroom floor, or in four full sized tiles on the walls. Slab pieces are installed on columns throughout the showroom and many more stone varieties can be found in our drawer units. Practically all the stones on the walls and floors are in stock in tiles, and most in slabs as well.

We also distribute a wide selection of other decorative surfaces, including:

Unglazed Porcelain Tiles - Floor Gres, Refin Ceramiche, Cotto D'Este and Rondine
Agglomerate Tiles - Celador (quartz based) and Sadlerstone (cement based)
Glass Tiles - Veneto Glass Tiles, Glacier Glass Tiles and Saix
Glazed Tiles - Debris (recycled) and Gypsum
Metal Mosaic Tiles - Elements

You will find all of these materials either installed on the floor, on the feature wall or in our sliding panel unit. Our decorative surface lines have been selected with the professional designer in mind, and are typically suitable for both residential and commercial applications.

Perhaps the heart of our showroom is an area you may never see. It's our sample storage room. We were careful to allocate a lot of room for samples so that we can quickly locate and send sample pieces, sample folders or literature. We have messenger services available to deliver your sample requests within a few hours, or sooner, depending on your time requirements. Samples are always free to our customers.

Jamie Ayers is the lead architectural consultant as well as the branch manager. "My background is in urban planning, and I really enjoy working with design professionals and being a part of the design process. We have so many wonderful materials that can be used in both residential and commercial projects", says Jamie.

Our other architectural consultants are Ronda Marr and John Gordon. Ronda comes to Stone Source Midwest with over ten years of experience in architectural and design sales. "I am glad to be with a company so focused on the highest level of quality and service! The wide array of materials is amazing. There are new introductions of fabulous and innovative stone all the time. This makes my job very exciting!" states Ronda.

John Gordon has over 10 years of industry experience and is excited to further his relationships in the A&D community. John started as an artist with a local design firm and quickly found his skills useful in the construction industry. His experience working with showrooms and manufacturers has given him a vast knowledge of stone and tile, enabling him to combine creative freedom with practical approaches to living. "I love being able to help clients tailor a project to fit their aesthetic, but it's also a huge puzzle that needs to have the right pieces in place. Stone Source offers the best of both worlds."

Handling customer service are Dustin Ayers and Annie Kuhlman. Together they are a phenomenal team providing the high level of service our architects and designers have come to expect.
